Many of my clients start counseling because of feelings of anxiety or depression. If you’re motivated to seek counseling by some degree of anxiety or depression, you should know that you’re not alone – statistically about one in five people experience some level of depression or anxiety.
What if you could shift your relationship to these feelings? What if instead of trying to get rid of them you could approach them as valuable pointers to what is really important to you? It’s possible that if you attend to the important things in your life the discomfort you feel as depression or anxiety won’t be as burdensome.
This work is about fully accepting yourself as you are, and living toward your values.
